Usually, people use see-through furniture for bright, clutter-free, and airy interiors. To cater to the demand,  there are many furniture designers that make glass and acrylic furniture depicting a transparency effect. One recent example is the Kimono Chair by Spanish outdoor furniture company Vondom.

Designed by Vondom’s beloved Ramón Esteve, this chair is crafted from polycarbonate to achieve its faceted lines and an interplay of transparencies. The end result is a compelling chair design that is both geometric and functional.

As Vondom puts it, the kimono chair is inspired by traditional Japanese costumes and it follows a faceted approach in unison with transparency achieved with the use of polycarbonate.

The structural lines of the chair produce stunning reflections with material transparency, which makes the chair resemble a diamond. By virtue then, the chair is almost invisible in space. Unique and multifaceted, this chair can fit into contemporary or classic homes with equal perfection.

Vondom’s Kimono Chair collection is bound to appeal to anyone searching for clear-glass furniture for their home. Though there is no reservation if new entrants want to explore the exclusivity. No word on the price or availability of the kimono at the time of writing.
