The combined use of internet-connected thermostats and radiators for a smart home experience is a growing trend, and now even big appliance brands have come up with their models like the E1 by Aqara. The family-run brand Tubes, which transformed simple radiators into design icons, has launched a Wi-Fi thermostat to bring smart heating features to your home. Featuring a minimal design LED screen, the device seamlessly integrates with any home style.
The Tubes Wi-Fi thermostat lets you adjust the temperature with simple gestures and create personalized heating schedules via its dedicated app. This digital thermostat supports weekly programming, adapting to your daily routines to enhance comfort while optimizing energy usage.
Developed in collaboration with Vimar, the Tubes Wi-Fi thermostat provides personalized comfort, energy saving, efficiency, and awareness. It is compatible with electric and mixed-operation towel warmers and radiators and can be adjusted manually via the LED display or remotely using the Vimar View App.
When asked about its operation and connectivity, the company PR representative told Homecrux, “The Tubes Wi-Fi thermostat, developed in collaboration with Vimar, features a minimalist LED display and user-friendly controls that allow you to set the temperature with a simple gesture. The dedicated app, meanwhile, enables users to program customized heating scenarios, monitor energy consumption, remotely manage multiple rooms from anywhere, and even activate the heating through leading virtual voice assistants. By programming the heating according to daily habits, it ensures personalized comfort while reducing energy waste, thanks to a device that combines advanced technology with refined design. The device complies with the European ECODESIGN regulation.”

From simple traditional ones like Smart, Kubik, and Basics to stylish designer pieces from the Elements collection, all can be controlled using this smart thermostat featuring an LED display. Additionally, the companion mobile app allows you to monitor energy consumption, remotely control heating for multiple rooms from anywhere, and even operate the system using voice assistants like Alexa or Google Assistant.
The Tubes Wi-Fi thermostat must be mounted on a wall near the heating device and should be connected to it via an electric cable to send signals to turn it on or off as needed. The device also needs to be linked to your home’s Wi-Fi network. Once set up, it lets you control the temperature in each room individually and can be integrated with smart home systems for remote and automated management.
