If someone asked me whether I’d drop a quarter million on an RV, my gut reaction would be ‘hell no.’ In my opinion, anyone willing to splurge their family fortune on a trailer should do so on something like the Vendetta. This massive rig, measuring 47 feet long, 8.5 feet wide, and 13 feet 5 inches tall, is just shy of the Black Prong, the longest tiny house on wheels. Still, its creators insist on calling it an RV.
But there is a catch! Vendetta isn’t just a conventional RV. It is actually an RV that doubles as a toy hauler. This is possible courtesy of its gross vehicle weight rating of 27,000lbs supported by a robust triple-axle setup, ensuring it can handle the heaviest loads while maintaining stability on the road.
First brought to light by Matt’s RV Reviews, Vendetta is designed by Axiom RV, a Florida-based RV manufacturer that holds expertise in building luxury fifth-wheels and high-end toy haulers. Vendetta, as noted by Yanko Design, “sets a new standard in fifth wheels and toy haulers”, courtesy of its distinctive design and conceptualization.
The trailer boasts a framework of corrosion-resistant, low-alloy steel. These steel walls are reinforced with dual layers of Azdel-style composite panels featuring foam cores. Regarding the rest of the construction, The Autopian notes that the trailer rides on a Curt coil spring suspension, with exterior siding made of marine-grade fiberglass coated with gelcoat.
Garnering a lot of attention in the media these days, Vendetta rivals the likes of Airstream and Bowlus, but what separates the former from the two is its ability to sleep 12 people. The trailer accommodates these campers thanks to a primary bedroom at the front, convertible couches that turn into beds, a ceiling bed at the rear, and a tiny house-style loft bedroom. In addition to hosting a dozen campers, the RV also features expansive storage solutions for toys ranging from dirt bikes and kayaks to ATVs and paddleboards.
Inside the RV is a living room with a U-shaped couch featuring 12 recliners, a primary bedroom at the front, and a garage in the rear. Not to mention, Vendetta’s spacious rear kitchen, equipped with abundant storage, high-end appliances, and generous countertop space for home-style cooking on the go. Other features include a 65-inch TV entertainment system, a 170-gallon freshwater tank, a 110-gallon gray water tank, and 200 watts of solar power.
The RV also includes four slide-outs for extra space and a convertible living area that sleeps up to 12 people, as discussed above. On a little downside, the RV, despite its humongous size, features just one bathroom. Nevertheless, it’s a great trade-off considering the RV features open areas, including a patio and the wide-open garage door ramp, offering plenty of space to spread out.
Equally important is Vendetta’s patent-pending rear-mount generator system, which relocates the generator to the rear, enabling true pass-through storage and clearing garage space for your gear without the typical mess. Coupled with a patent-pending mini-split HVAC system, it provides exceptional heating and cooling performance. Offered in two variants, the base V4250 and the premium V4250SP, both priced around $200,000, the Vendetta comes equipped with additional add-ons available on Axiom’s official website.
