Smart appliances have become rather common in the past handful of years, with new technologies shoving the old guard out of the way every year. For CES 2026, wan AIChef, a pioneer in intelligent culinary ecosystems, launched the wan AIChef Ultra to replace the traditional smart appliances. It is a culinary agent that leverages artificial intelligence to transform complex cooking into a seamless experience through algorithms and nutrition science.
The countertop device looks like a microwave that functions as a chef and diet coach, all the while promising to spice up the kitchen with AI features. The AIChef Ultra comes with a 12-megapixel camera and an AI Smart Recognition System to instantly identify your ingredients and suggest the best cooking method. The system has multi-zone temperature control for you to cook dish combos to perfection within a ±3 degrees Celsius margin, bringing restaurant-level consistency to your home kitchen.

As for acting as a diet coach, the wan AIChef Ultra plans the meals tailored to your health. The wan AiOS Meal Smart Brain syncs with your health data to analyze nutritional gaps and creates a personalized 7-day meal plan.
It has a recipe hub of over 1,000 evolving global dishes to better serve your needs. The device also features batch cooking intelligence, preparing multiple dishes at once, perfect for households with varying tastes.
With a 35-liter capacity, the device offers steaming, boiling, stir-frying, stewing, braising, pan-searing, and grilling. It is available in a sleek finish in different colors: Slate Cliff Gray, Obsidian Black, Titanium Alloy Black, and Titanium Gray.
“We are not just launching a product; we are introducing an AI Cooking Agent to American homes. Our goal is to build an intelligent ecosystem spanning from kitchen to table that empowers healthier eating, creativity, and, ultimately, more meaningful time together at home,” said Stanley Huo, General Manager of wan AIChef.
wan AIChef Ultra doesn’t want to leave the kitchen out of the smart, data-driven home equation. It treats the kitchen as a data-driven hub where everything can be broken down into actionable variables and making cooking smarter and more fun. This also streamlines the cooking workflow, minimizes waste, and turns daily meals into a personalized, data-guided dining experience.
