Remember the dreamy Wollemi Wilderness Treehouse on the edge of the World Heritage Blue Mountains that we featured last year? This treehouse was under maintenance in 2019, but now you can book it for a peaceful stay in the wilderness. It takes under two hours’ from Sydney, Australia to reach this secret treehouse that overlooks Bowen’s Creek Gorge and the World Heritage Blue Mountains.

Created by Wollemi Cabins, the treehouse and its surroundings are a real attraction. The best thing about this cabin amid the trees is its floor-to-ceiling glass windows that blur the line between interiors and outdoors.

There is also a living turpentine tree that grows through the ground up to the middle section of the cabin, bringing a natural touch to the living space. The tree branches also sprawl throughout the living areas and helps in forming an unparalleled connection with nature.

Another exciting thing about this sky-high cabin is the open-air spa bath, which lets you relax and cleanse yourself while listening to the sounds of the rainforest. You can access the treehouse via a steep set of steps and a narrow vertigo-inducing walkway.

Despite being set in a remote location, the cabin features all amenities needed in a self-contained house. It comprises a living room with a fireplace, queen bedroom, a kitchenette, and a deck area overlooking the stunning views of nature.
