We love our pets and try to provide them the most comfortable and cozy environment on a budget. Rich people do it in a slightly different way. Take for example this Taiwanese family who commissioned an interior design company named Indot to design a larger-than-life cathouse inside their family home, complete with wooden cat condos, shelves and scratching post.

Made from glass and wood, the custom-built indoor cat enclosure is mounted on a recessed wall using metal rods. There are two entrances on either side to offer kitties more freedom and flexibility to access the enclosure. Wood slats on two sides ensure proper ventilation.

On the inside, there are two cat condos, a scratching post and several shelves for cats to explore and jump around. The glass construction makes it easy for homeowners to keep an eye on them.

Apart from this, there’s a small glass enclosure on the balcony end to offer a clear view of the surrounding area.

In addition to providing feline friends a safe lounging area to hang out, the cabin helps the homeowners in maintaining cleanliness.

In times when pet owners are showing an inclination towards modern cat furniture, design inspirations like this can surely change the way we look at giving a better life to our feline friends.
