Wyze is quickly gaining recognition in the smart home security market with its creative products, like a bulb‑socket camera and a decorative vase that hides a camera in plain sight. Following the same approach, the company has unveiled the Duo Cam Pan, a unique home security device that packs two 2K cameras into one unit for maximum coverage. One lens remains fixed to continuously monitor a set area, while the other one pans and tilts with motion tracking to eliminate blind spots, ensuring you never miss a moment.
The Wyze Duo Cam Pan features two stacked cameras that work together to maximize coverage. Interestingly, both cameras share the same specifications, and there is no telephoto lens for optical zoom, which could have added extra versatility in certain scenarios. The same configuration of both cameras has made one of them less useful.
Each camera offers a wide 127.5-degree diagonal, 106-degree horizontal, and 56.5-degree vertical field of view, allowing them to capture larger areas while minimizing blind spots. The adjustable, pan‑tilt positioning further expands the coverage area, making it easier to monitor every corner without needing multiple devices.
You can expect this camera system to cover a broad area horizontally and diagonally, with a decent vertical range, suitable for large rooms, yards, or open areas needing wide coverage. The upper camera is fixed, while the lower one can pan a full 360 degrees and tilt up to 180 degrees. The lower camera can also automatically track movement, adjusting its position to follow people or objects in real time.
One of the standout features of this smart home security camera is its built‑in MicroSD card slot that supports up to 512GB of local storage. For those who need even more space for recorded videos, the company also offers an optional cloud storage subscription.

The Wyze Duo Cam Pan comes with two motion-activated spotlights that can also be configured to work along with voice prompts for an added layer of security. With an IP65 weather-resistant design, it is built to withstand outdoor conditions. You can also set up four spots for the camera to automatically scan and patrol any room or outdoor area with Pan Scan. Additional standout features include a built-in siren, two-way audio communication, detection zones, and color night vision. It seamlessly integrates with Alexa, Google Assistant, and IFTTT for smart home control.
A single‑camera security system often leaves blind spots, but Wyze solves this with its innovative two‑camera home security device. It is not a new concept, as TP-Link has already come up with the Tapo C246D Dual Lens 2K Pan Tilt Security Camera earlier this year, but it is still good to see that this design is being utilized. Priced at just $70, the Wyze Duo Cam Pan is now available through the official Wyze store and Amazon.
