The practice of carving pumpkins to create scary Jack-o’-lanterns was brought by Irish immigrants to America, and now it has become an important Halloween decoration. Every year in October, we can see carved pumpkins peering out from porches and doorsteps in the US and other parts of the world. Traditionally, tiny tea light candles were used for pumpkin illumination, but nowadays, we have more options like LED lights, glow sticks, CFL bulbs, etc. In this festive season, everyone wants to decorate their home uniquely, but carving pumpkins is not an easy task. As a result, pumpkin-shaped lamps can be an easy-go solution this Halloween.

If you want to go the traditional way, then check out these cool pumpkin carving designs, but if you don’t want to indulge in the mess, then the Jack pumpkin-shaped polyethylene lamp designed by Italy-based designer Marco Cocco for furniture company 21st Design is the right option for you.

Its design is inspired by Rocco’s pumpkin-shaped decorative sculpture. This lighted pumpkin is available in three colors – neutral, green and tangerine. You can place it on the floor or use the hook handle to hang it easily to add creepy essence to your indoor or outdoor decoration for Halloween.

There are separate versions for indoor or outdoor use while there are also different lighting options. Furthermore, the RGB version of Jack pumpkin lamp is able to create colorful light visuals.

If you want to purchase one, you can contact 21st Design or spend about €60 (US$70) at Famozo .
