British industrial designer Marc Fish is well known for his sculptural furniture made using various types of wood and veneer. He debuted the Ethereal Desk at Design Miami 2018 and is now ready with Ethereal Chair, next iteration in his Ethereal Series. The chair beautifully showcases curvilinear forms he is so famous for.

It is crafted from sycamore wood and acrylic resin. It uses a micro stack-lamination technique with a new process of combining wood laminations with poured resin. This creates a wood-like seat that is durable and allows light to pass through it, creating a one-of-its-kind look.

The uniform frame comprising legs, back and armrest meet at the transparent seat, which changes shades from light to dark. The continuous design gives it a curved wooden chair look.

From material innovation to its minimalist curved form, this unique chair design incorporates all required elements of modern furniture design.

The Marc Fish Ethereal Chair will be showcased at the Todd Merrill art gallery.
