The Italian bathroom furnishing brand antoniolupi is the expert in bringing simple bathroom fixtures and other accessories with an avant-garde flair and finesse. For the past many years, the company has been introducing numerous designs at the Milan Furniture Week. It’s hard to separate antoniolupi from Salone del Mobile and they are back with their Salone del Mobile 2022 collection, with a showstopper bathtub.

The Italian company will be presenting the new collections with iconic and progressive pieces by multiple designers. However, the OFURO bathtub, designed by Carlo Colombo, stands apart from the rest. The corner bathtub looks elegant and can be used for both indoor and outdoor settings.

Putting state-of-the-art material from antoniolupi to use, the bathtub is made from Flumood. Made of a single block, its rim broadens at places to put your bath essentials, while the thinner areas lighten the imposing volume of the tub. There is a lowered edge at the front of the bathtub to allow you to enter and immerse yourself in water. If required, the bathtub can be customized with LED lights that are integrated at the base of the bathtub.

Overall, it is a smooth balance between straight lines and sharp corners that marry the soft shapes and curved surface of the bathtub. The design is inspired by ancient Japanese culture and celebrates the rituals and traditions of a Japanese bath. The entire work is an amalgamation of skilled craftsmanship and top-notch design from Colombo.

Although the contemporary design looks like a large sculpture that is ideal for any hotel environment, you can also bring this tub home for swanking your riches. Available in freestanding and built-in versions, the corner bathtub will breathe new life into your bathroom.
