People carry a wrong notion about men just being interested in guns, booze, and girls. I am here to disclose a little secret that you must promise to keep safe in your heart. What men really want is not any of the aforementioned guilty pleasures but a cute little pet to pamper and play with. Raising a pet is one thing, but taking care of it possesses a whole set of new challenges, that would cost you more than your girlfriend’s nail paint.

The biggest of those challenges is keeping your pet safe from stray animals that may barrage into your home and indulge in a wrangle with your pet. Thanks to this smart pet door which keeps your home and pet safe from mutts and critters, your worries could just be minimized.

Designed by Javis Sijin, Petvation is a smart pet door that recognizes your pet’s face using its AI-powered facial recognition and lets your cat or dog move in and out with ease. However, the best part about the door is it prevents a raccoon, wolf or any other critter from entering your home and cause harm to your pet.

Built with aluminum alloy, it is designed to be integrated into any existing door. Featuring two sets of high-resolution infrared cameras with 120-degree wide-angle lenses on each side, the pet door keeps a keen eye on the mutts who try to invade your home.

The smart automatic pet door is capable of monitoring and detecting objects down to 0.2-inches in size with the auto-pinch sensor technology. This helps in making sure that the tail or other body part of your pet does not get stuck while moving in and out.

Overall, the smart pet door is an advanced and modern solution for all pet owners that ensures safety for your canine and feline, while you’re away. So, you need not worry about your pet being home alone because Petvation is connected to your smartphone and can have a constant watch at what the pet’s been up to.

The Petvation smart pet door is currently being crowd-funded on Kickstarter and can be pre-ordered for an early bird price of $169.
