26 ft Monarch Tiny House Offers Great Functionality in Little Space

One tiny house builder that has impressed me goes by the name of Canadian Tiny Homes. I recently covered their 28 feet Kokanee tiny house. Today it’s time to talk about another micro dwelling by the same maker. It is 26 feet abode named Monarch tiny house, and built on a double axle trailer.

The exterior of the house is a mix of dark green and brown colors with edges using black paint. The roof is slanted to one side to get rid of water or snow during bad weather. The windows are present on both the lower level and the loft level but are somewhat elevated to ensure privacy for the residents. They slide open from one side which enables proper ventilation in Monarch Tiny House. The main door looks exquisite with beautiful lights that have been installed above the entry.

When you enter this tiny home, you first notice the intelligently designed small living room space which extends to the kitchen and bathroom areas in the lower level. There is a couch with plenty of natural light entering from outside during the daytime. Just above the seating area is a smaller loft that can be used to store personal items and is accessible using a ladder.

Located centrally is the kitchen unit which has an L-shaped countertop design that is a small dining area with two stools. This area is beautifully complemented by a small chandelier. The countertop has a sink in the middle and faces a window. Lying at the extreme corner is the cooktop with four burners and an oven.

There are four smartly placed hanging shelves above the countertop and cabinets to store kitchen essentials below it. The double-door fridge is opposite the cooking area. The bathroom of Monarch includes a toilet seat, sink with vanity unit and shower space with curtains. There are small shelves in the bathroom to store the toiletries.

The stairs to the loft bedroom start from the kitchen area and have a big mirror installed on the wall which creates an illusion of big space and is another smart design element by the builder. The bedroom on the left can be used to sleep two people with space for a double mattress. There is a skylight above the sleeping area which allows you to enjoy the beauty of the outdoors like the feeling of a nice slumber on a cloudless starry night. Truly Monarch tiny house is a good example of a small dwelling with smart architecture.
