The Sophia tiny house, built by Poland-based company Tiny House BAR – TOF, squeezes a loft bedroom, a cozy living room, a full bathroom, and ample integrated storage in one compact space. The 248-square-foot tiny house offers a luxurious wood-wrapped interior with Scandinavian aesthetics. The striking timber slat panels differentiate between different living zones and add elegant Japandi beauty to the cozy interior.

The Sophia tiny house rests atop a durable double axle trailer and measures 25 square feet long and 8.3 square feet wide. Its dual-textured façade features honey-colored tongue and groove wood cladding with charcoal metal side-paneling sheets. These metal sheets protect the lower section of the compact house’s exterior from road debris and damage, and add a modern contrast against the wooden façade.

The gable roof, built with the same charcoal-grey standing seam metal sheets, adds beautiful triangular geometry to its rectangular silhouette. The glazed door and windows lift off the weight from its metallic and wooden façade. The large picture-frame glazing, below the front gable roof, visually connects the interior with the outdoors and floods the living space with natural daylight.

The glazed door with wooden framing opens into the spacious, cabin-like interior. The contrasting finish between the pale tongue-and-groove shiplap and the dark-grained furniture feels visually pleasing to the eye. The multipurpose furniture with integrated storage provides ample storage facilities without taking up valuable floor space and keeps the interior de-cluttered.

The most striking feature of the tiny house is the use of aforementioned pine wooden slats to separate living zones from each other despite the open floor layout. These slatted panels add a Japandi-style décor element to the space and fill it with filtered brightness without any obstruction.

The linear kitchenette located on the far left side flaunts hidden appliance integration by concealing a compact dishwasher and a pull-out waste bin within the cabinetry. The laminated wood countertop includes a flushed, matte black sink with a gooseneck faucet and an induction cooktop.

The staircase located opposite the kitchen includes an integrated microwave and a white refrigerator integrated within the cabinets. Similarly, the foldable table in the center with cushioned folding chairs serves as a dining zone or a mini-gathering space for a quick breakfast or snacks.

Adjacent to the kitchenette, the aforementioned staircase with built-in storage leads towards the lofted bedroom. It has a platform double bed with functional headboard storage, wooden cabinets, and ample glazing that offers glimpses of the natural surroundings. The bathroom lies beneath the loft bedroom and has a vanity sink, toilet, glass shower room, integrated washing machine, and shelves for storage.

The living room with a comfortable L-shaped sofa set, wall-mounted television, and a coffee table sits near the large picture window. You can admire the beautiful landscape while sipping your favorite warm beverage. The light-toned shiplap reflects light to brighten up the space, and the rectangular box shelves provide space to store indoor plants and decorative elements.

The Sophia tiny house offers a space-saving, compact dwelling with plenty modern amenities. The slatted panels, contrasting wood finishes, and warm spruce cladding fill the space with a warm and inviting feeling. The use of multipurpose, storage-integrated furniture maximizes the floor space and enhances the modern utility needs.
