Tiny houses are all about comfort. No matter the size, the important thing is that the space you live in feels safe, comforting, and welcoming. One such dwelling is Nilamani’s tiny house. It is her dream home that speaks of her resilience and ability to face the storms. Her tiny home is one of the most exquisite micro-dwelling that embodies the essence of being free-spirited just like the owner.

She is settled in a breathtaking landscape, lush green and full of life. She has wonderfully incorporated plants in the interior and exterior of her house to make it part of that landscape. Boasting an open design, the house is extended with a large covered deck, which has an outdoor lounge, a great spot to meditate and contemplate life as the sun goes down. Measuring 33 feet long and 10 feet wide, the black exterior goes well with the touch of brown, multiple windows, and a large entry door. She has installed a water collecting system, where the rainwater gets stored for her garden.

One thing to admire about the tiny house is its open, well-planned interior. Every corner of the house is a reflection of the spirited, easy-going, and aesthetic traits of the owner. She wanted the interior to be functional and easy to live in. There is a kitchen, a living room, and a bathroom on the main floor, while the loft has a bedroom and a lounge.

Walking through the huge entrance of Nilamani’s tiny house, you enter the kitchen. It is beautifully done and integrated with all the necessities. There is a generous prep space on a stone countertop and a moveable kitchen island that becomes a dinette. There is a sink and ample under and below counter drawers, cabinets, and a pantry. The appliances include a cooktop, a microwave, a dishwasher, a chimney, and a refrigerator. To incorporate a bit of wood inside, she has added oak shelves.

Moving on to the charming living area that looks peaceful, a kind of space where one would go to find some peace of mind. The living room accommodates a couch big enough to rest and sleep, a TV, a coffee table, and a working table. It is her little den, her working and relaxing space. The living room is decorated with antiques the owner has collected over the years. There is also a wood stove for the cold winters and plenty of plants for a zen vibe.

On the other side is a bathroom. It is well-designed and has a shower, a vanity sink, a washer-dryer unit, and an incinerating toilet.

Now we walk up the stairs with handrails. There is a walkway that leads to the bedroom on one side, and the lounge area on the other. Emanating zen vibes, the lounge is her chill-out space, where she meditates, does yoga, and takes Zoom classes. The space is filled with many details like plants, a bookshelf, a vintage table, paintings, and bits and pieces of her life.

The bright and spacious bedroom is a cozy space with a bed and a dresser for her clothes, enclosed by a door. There is a space dedicated to her treasured items. Nilamani’s tiny house is truly the most stunning dwelling, accentuated by the way she has beautifully decorated her home. She calls it a portal to her soul. It is her safe sanctuary and her forever home.
