The British furniture company, Foris, in collaboration with John Makepeace OBE, designed a functional furniture dubbed the Obelisk 3 cabinet. This collaboration happened intending to expand and mingle Foris’s woodworking talent with Jon Makepeace’s creative vision. Resulting in this contemporary furniture that reveals a useful and exquisite cabinet interior.

This cabinet grabs the attention for its striking blackened oak exterior and a contrasting sycamore interior that adds an element of serenity to an otherwise bold profile.

The piece is designed with impeccable craftsmanship, where the designers beautifully blend two distinct materials to fashion an outstanding look. Not only it is thought-provoking but enigmatic as well. Due to its mysterious structure, it is impossible to fathom its functionality when it’s closed. However, when opened, Obelisk 3 reveals a truly different nature.

At the top shelf, there is a custom mirror that can be adjusted according to the user’s height. Beneath the mirror, there is a cotton velvet padding in a deep purple color that provides a soft landing for delicate accessories. Followed by six drawers to store various items.

The Obelisk 3 cabinet flaunts a sleek design that will be a fine and sophisticated addition to any bedroom. It is contemporary furniture designed to bring satisfaction among modern users and reflects the growing demand for state-of-the-art and luxurious home accessories.
