Ireland-based multidisciplinary artist Jessica Anne Woodley has unveiled her debut collection, Eternal Child, featuring sculptural furniture with wavy shapes and bold colors. Drawing inspiration from self-exploration and nurturing the inner child, Woodley aims for her pieces to spark joy, challenge seriousness, and encourage a playful connection to life’s deeper truths.

Woodley, widely recognized for her role on the British reality TV show ‘Made in Chelsea,’ transitioned into design in 2020 with the launch of her studio, Gliffy. Her debut collection, Eternal Child, includes stools, coffee tables, mirrors, bookshelves, and a small abstract figurine that serves as the collection’s logo. Each piece is characterized by curvy forms and lines that give the impression of gently swaying in the wind.

Some pieces in the collection are crafted from glass-reinforced polyester, while others are made from Italian Carrara marble. The marble pieces are produced in collaboration with Costa Paolo, a renowned atelier near Carrara with over three generations of artisanal expertise. The collection offers tables and stools in two sizes, available in both materials, with a choice of matte or high-gloss finishes for polyester pieces.

The high-gloss finish brings a bold, eye-catching element to the polyester pieces, while the marble stands out for its natural textures and elegant veining. The collection also includes a rock-like bookcase made from plastic that appears to float or sway in the air, as well as a sculptural mirror.

As noted by Dezeen, she began by developing initial sketches and used 3D sculpting software to design the furniture, then created small-scale models using 3D printing. Each piece was then precisely milled by machine and finished by hand to achieve its signature rounded form. Although she spent two years experimenting with recycled materials, Woodley ultimately chose fiberglass for its durability and striking appearance.

All the pieces are now available to purchase on the official Gliffy website, with prices starting from £569 (about $770) for the fiberglass baby stool.
