Projectors are becoming highly popular for big-screen entertainment because they let you enjoy large screen sizes at a lower cost than TVs. Epson shares the same vision, and its latest LS9000 model from the Pro Cinema line is specifically meant for home theater enthusiasts. It is a high-quality 4K projector that delivers bright, clear images at a great price and works perfectly in specialized home theaters.
The Pro Cinema LS9000 uses Epson’s advanced video technology to deliver bright, sharp 4K UHD resolution on screen and support for up to 4K content at 120 frames per second. It even supports HDR10+, which produces a full 8.29 million pixels on-screen. It is designed to fit easily into custom home theaters, works with many AV devices and screen types, and connects smoothly with popular control systems like Control4, Crestron, and PJLink.
There is an onboard motorized lens with zoom, focus, and lens shift that makes installation easy. You can precisely shift the lens up to +/- 96 percent vertically and up to +/- 24 percent horizontally without any loss in picture distortion or clarity. You can also set the zoom and focus, then store all the settings in one of the lens memory presets. Furthermore, smart home compatibility further enhances its functionality.
Powered by Epson’s advanced ZX Picture Processor, the Pro Cinema LS9000 improves picture details and smoothens motion in real time. It offers 2,200 lumens of color (IDMS Rated) and 2,200 lumens of white brightness (ISO Rated) to provide a great picture in any theater environment. The projector has a 20,000-hour laser light source that uses a special cooling system and turns on instantly, with no bulbs to replace.

The projector employs advanced 3LCD technology that uses three individual LCD chips to continuously display 100 percent of the RGB color signal for every frame. This allows for outstanding color gamut while maintaining high brightness without any rainbow effect or color brightness issues.
For gaming, the projector supports up to 4K resolution at 120 frames per second, along with input lag times below 20 ms. There is onboard HDMI 2.1 along with ARC and eARC support for connecting external audio equipment and streaming devices. The Epson Pro Cinema LS9000 4K projector is now available through authorized Epson dealers for a price of $3,999.
