Starbucks coffee houses in the United States and Canada will start selling Protein Cold Foam and Protein Lattes made from protein boosted milk, starting September 29. The coffee giant claims that these drinks will add approximately 15 to 36 grams of protein per grande (16 ounce) beverage.
At the end of September, fans will be able to enjoy these protein rich drinks in a variety of flavors, including sugar-free and unsweetened options. Each drink is designed for customers wanting to add protein in their everyday go-to order.
According to Starbucks, Protein Cold Foam provides 15 grams of protein to any beverage. It is a creamy, frothy topping, which adds texture and taste to any cold coffee, tea or beverage, making drinks mouth-watering and richly layered. Customers can choose from a myriad of delightful flavors, such as banana, vanilla, chocolate, matcha, salted caramel and brown sugar, as well as basic Protein Cold Foam.
Among its seasonal flavors, pumpkin and pecan are also there to sweeten the holiday season. In addition to the Protein Cold Foam flavors, Starbucks will add iced beverages with Protein Cold Foam to its permanent menu.

Starbucks Protein Lattes are made from protein-boosted milk, delivering approximately 27 to 36 grams of protein to your beverage. It gives a solid burst of protein without affecting the richness, bold flavor, and smooth texture of any staple drink that customers like. Starbucks will offer a wide assortment of Protein Lattes to the permanent menu starting September 29.
Customers can also keep track of their protein intake by customizing drinks with 2 percent boosted milk, where it is a part of the recipe. For example, ice lattes, iced shaken espresso and coconut milk refreshers, delivering an extra shot of 12-16 grams of protein per grande.
