Oregon-based company Spindrift Tiny Homes has built impressive models like the Olympic and Ochoco, but none come closer to its latest model, the Shasta tiny house on wheels. Built on a double-axle trailer, the Shasta stretches 26 feet long and a generous 10 feet wide, edging out most tiny homes with that extra room to breathe. This extra-wide layout, coupled with abundant natural light and thoughtful integration of modern amenities, makes it worth a discussion.
At first glance, the Shasta captivates with its dormer-style roof and cedar siding, creating a charming exterior that blends seamlessly into country or urban landscapes alike. The metal roof, available in your choice of color, ensures durability and a sleek finish. But what really elevates the Shasta is its light-drenched design. The tiny house features an array of windows (15 to be specific) and a pair of French doors, allowing the interior to bathe in natural light.
On the inside, the tiny house features a living room, two bedrooms, a kitchen, and a bathroom. The living room has a built-in storage couch with custom cushions and a wood-burning stove with space for wood and kindling. Other features include a mini-split AC/heater, on-demand hot water, and a ceiling fan. Not to mention, a Bluetooth surround sound system, and soft wall sconce lights in the bedroom and loft.
Speaking of the bedroom, the Shasta tiny home has a main-floor bedroom alongside an upper loft that serves as a versatile guest space. The first-floor bedroom features integrated bedside tables, storage cubbies, and built-in book or plant shelves for a personal touch. The second bedroom can be accessed via storage-integrated staircase.

Partitioning the living room from the bedroom is a kitchen that stands out. The Shasta’s kitchen features butcher block countertops and a handy fold-up extension for more prep space. A custom backsplash and open shelves keep everything neat and stylish. Additional highlights include custom cabinets, a three-burner propane range and hood, and a refrigerator with a bottom freezer.
The walkthrough bathroom comes equipped with a bathtub/shower combo, sink, illuminated vanity mirror, and your choice of flush or composting toilet. Not to mention, custom tile that adorns the shower, floor, walls, and sink backsplash, allowing for personalized flair. The Shasta tiny house is currently priced at $135,000, but customization options let you tailor it to your vision.
