HARMAN Luxury Audio Group has unveiled the new Performa4 series of luxury loudspeakers under its Revel sub-brand, aimed at serious audiophiles. Slated for public debut at AXPONA 2026, the lineup comprises two floorstanding speakers, two bookshelf speakers, a dedicated center channel, a powered subwoofer, and floor stands. The collection replaces the Performa3 line, with several significant technical and aesthetic upgrades that move it closer to the flagship PerformaBe series.
The most notable audio upgrade is replacing the aluminum drivers used in the Performa3. The new lineup uses Deep Ceramic Composite (DCC) for tweeter and midrange domes and Micro Ceramic Composite (MCC) for woofers. These materials are stiffer and lighter, resulting in lower coloration and higher rigidity. One more difference is that the Performa3 offered two C205 and C208 3-way center channels, while the Performa4 currently offers only one C245 2-way center channel featuring dual 5.25-inch woofers.
The flagship F346 floorstander now has triple 6.5-inch woofers, unlike the dual 8-inch woofers in the previous F208 model. Despite the smaller cone size, the triple-driver array provides a similar surface area with potentially better linear excursion due to upgraded magnet structures. There is another F3465 floorstanding model, which can be seen as more compact with triple 5.25-inch woofers and a 5.25-inch midrange.
Next is the M146 Bookshelf Speaker, which is equipped with a 6.5-inch woofer, while the M145 Bookshelf Speaker uses a 5.25-inch woofer. The new B140 is a 10-inch subwoofer with a 750W RMS / 1,500W peak Class D amplifier that will deliver deep bass down to 26Hz.
Aesthetically, the Performa4 series comes in matte-style wood veneers and a black front baffle with polished detailing. Furthermore, the new woofer and midrange drivers feature inverted surrounds and integrated trim rings that hide the mounting screws for a cleaner look.
