Seniors often prefer tiny houses that prioritize accessibility, low maintenance, and community living, all to ensure a safe and comfortable retirement. That is precisely the vision Florida-based tiny house manufacturer Simplify Further Tiny Homes is bringing to life with the Shanti tiny house on wheels. Measuring 20 feet long and eight feet wide, the Shanti is mounted on a double-axle trailer. Despite its compact footprint, it comfortably sleeps two people and offers everything needed for a simplified, downsized lifestyle.

The exterior is clad in engineered wood with board-and-batten metal siding and topped by a metal roof. Inside, the home offers 133 square feet of usable floor space. Notably, it has opted for a single-level, open floor plan, free of partition walls and interior doors, with the sole exception being the bathroom entrance.

The interior is finished with drywall and vinyl flooring, and windows on all sides ensure steady airflow throughout. Dwellers enter through a fiberglass front door that opens directly into the kitchen. Speaking of the kitchen, it is well furnished with wooden cabinets, countertops, and a series of floating shelves. Other notable features include a sink, an induction cooktop, and a compact fridge/freezer.

Adjacent to the kitchen is a flexible living area that can double as a bedroom when needed. Owners may choose to furnish it with either a sofa bed or a queen-size bed, depending on their preference.

The bathroom, tucked toward the rear, includes a toilet, a vanity, and a walk-in shower, a thoughtful touch for accessibility. Above the bathroom sits a loft, though it is intended solely for storage rather than sleeping. Like most mobile homes, the Shanti draws power through a standard RV-style hookup.

All things considered, the Shanti tiny house may not be the most elaborate tiny home on the market, but it delivers exactly what it promises: simple living with minimal clutter. Simplify Further Tiny Homes has the Shanti listed on their official website for $30,000, though availability may be limited.
