Bang & Olufsen (B&O) has always been known for creating luxury audio products that serve as artistic statement pieces for high-end interiors, and its latest collaboration with Hiroshi Fujiwara of Fragment Design adds to that vision. The collection reimagines four of the brand’s iconic audio devices as sleek statement pieces with Hiroshi Fujiwara’s liquid black finish. Fragment’s signature monochrome aesthetic is combined with Bang & Olufsen’s precision-milled aluminum craftsmanship to give a bold look to the Beosound A1, Beoplay H100, Beosound Shape, and Beosystem 9000c.
As a long-time listener of Bang & Olufsen’s products for over 35 years, Fujiwara sees this partnership as a natural continuation of their collective journey shaped by memories, craftsmanship, and instinct passed over the years. His overall experience with B&O products has helped shape the fine details of these limited-edition pieces.
The partnership feels meaningful because Fujiwara has a deep understanding of the brand’s focus on craftsmanship, music, and timeless design. He explained, “This collaboration has been a long-time dream of mine. Since building my home around Bang & Olufsen’s integrated home sound system in the 1990s, the brand has been my first choice for audio. This collaboration feels like a meaningful continuation for our journey together.”
This limited-edition collection brings an artistic perspective to the brand’s design approach. Bang & Olufsen has used its long experience with aluminum craftsmanship to redesign and refine the material in a special way, making it a perfect canvas for Fragment’s signature black finish. For the first time, they have applied a highly specialized anodization and hand polishing process to select portable products for a unique liquid-like, high-gloss finish.

Each product in the collection carries Fragment’s signature double lightning bolt logo. The Beoplay H100 has the logo on the ear cup with glossy aluminum details, while the Beosound A1 features it beneath the speaker grille.
The seven-tile Beosound Shape uses black and gray fabric in a subtle floral-style layout with an aluminum logo tag. Meanwhile, the Beosystem 9000c setup combines matte black and polished aluminum finishes, with both brands’ logos placed on the CD holder and speaker stands.
The Bang & Olufsen Fragment collection will be available across Japan from 27 May, while the global online release is slated for 3 June. The Beoplay H100 costs $2,400, the Beosound A1 3rd Gen is for $475, and the Beosound Shape is priced at $7,100 worldwide. The made-to-order Beosystem 9000c setup will cost $69,650 and will be exclusively available in Japan.
