Alberta-based Amberwood Tiny Homes is renowned for building fully custom, handcrafted luxury tiny houses engineered specifically to withstand harsh Canadian winters. One such dwelling we came across while surfing the brand’s website is the Sedona tiny house on wheels.

Mounted on a triple-axle trailer, the Sedona tiny house measures 36 feet long, 12 feet wide, and offers 432 square feet of living space. Considering its grand configuration, the maker has designated this as a Park Model on the website.

The exterior of the Sedona tiny house is finished in metal and wood cladding, further complemented by black-trimmed windows that give the dwelling a sharp, modern look. Notably, Amberwood offers foundation conversion for any of its models, so if you start with Sedona as a mobile dwelling and later want to stay put for good, that option is available.

The tiny house includes a living room, kitchen, bathroom, and a bedroom. The biggest USP of the tiny house is its large glazing, including an A-frame window design that brings natural light deep into the space, making the room brighter and even more spacious. The living room includes a sofa, a coffee table, and a chair, with plenty of open space to walk through.

Adjacent to the living room is the kitchen. It has black marble countertops, white cabinets, a black sink, tile backsplash, and pendant lighting. There is no word on appliances available, but we can spot a four-burner cooktop, refrigerator, oven, dishwasher, and range hood.

A little ahead is the bedroom of the tiny house. It sits on the main floor, tucked behind a black barn door. The bedroom sleeps a couple and also offers plenty of storage for the dweller.

Sandwiched between the bedroom and the living room is a small bathroom with a vanity sink, a toilet, and a shower. There is also a full washer/dryer unit that has almost become a standard in tiny homes now.

There is also a small storage loft above the bathroom, ideal for sleeping guests. Other features include a dedicated mechanical room that keeps all the practical infrastructure out of sight.

As is the case with tiny homes in North America, the Sedona tiny house comes with in-floor heating, dual-zone air conditioning, and four-season readiness, which means it handles Canadian winters as confidently as it handles hot summer months.

The tiny house is priced at CAD188,500 (roughly $136,250) and is currently available for delivery anywhere in Canada or the United States.
