Portability is not a new concept in the lighting world, yet these wireless lamps by California-based lighting manufacturer Gantri feel different. Ditching traditional wires and cords, the lamp collection comprises 10 styles, setting a new benchmark for portable luminaires. Designed in collaboration with San Francisco design studio Ammunition, Gantri marked its 10th anniversary by debuting the collection at NYCxDesign.
The cordless lamps feature Gantri’s new Helia technology using the Helia H1 engine. This universal core standardizes the complex internal battery, LED modules, and smart chips into one modular component. It functions as the physical engine for every lamp shape in the line, providing diverse artistic designs while maintaining the reliability of the underlying mechanics.
The collection is split into three sections: the Drift, the Pier, and the Eave. The Drift lamps are organic and alive, featuring softly tapered, flowing volumes reminiscent of smooth river stones structured by water at the shore. Next are the Pier lamps, inspired by the piers of the California coastline. Featuring working waterfront structures, this range uses sharp, geometric intersecting planes.
The last in the family are the Eave lamps. Taking architectural cues from the broad overhangs of Asian-influenced rooflines in San Francisco, these lamps provide architectural presence while sculpting light into your pockets, marking a point of calm amid chaos. All the illuminating accessories are available in an array of colors and sizes. Whether needed for a date, a reading, a table, or a whole room, the lamps are capable of it all.
Engineered to rival traditional plug-in fixtures, these wireless units deliver up to 1,000 lumens. They feature advanced battery packs that supply up to 10 hours of continuous runtime on a single charge while maintaining flicker-free, accurate colors.

Built for the modern connected home, this lineup natively integrates with the universal Matter smart home standard. This allows users to seamlessly control, schedule, and dim the lamps using Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa, or Samsung SmartThings.
Recharging is effortless thanks to a low-profile, polished stainless steel magnetic charging puck that snaps instantly onto the base. The lamp functions normally as a stationary light while docked, then easily lifts away for cordless portability.
Each premium lamp housing is locally 3D printed to order out of Gantri’s proprietary, sugarcane-derived bio-based plant polymers. This specialized material process drastically reduces manufacturing waste and carbon footprints while giving the collection a smooth, high-end matte finish.
