Poland-based Tiny House BAR – TOF has built the storage-efficient Maxi Tiny House, imbuing its functional, two-bedroom layout with a cozy Japandi aesthetic that feels warm and inviting. Its wood-wrapped interior and exterior enhance the natural tactile richness, while the decorative wooden slats fill the living space with a fresh woodland vibe.

The Maxi flaunts its dual-textured façade, similar to the company’s Sophia tiny house. It rests atop a double axel trailer and measures 30 feet long and 9.8 feet wide. The tiny house has a distinct tri-toned cladding on its exterior. The dark-toned horizontal thermos wood siding covers most of its façade and the light-toned vertical tongue-and-groove wainscoting provides a lovely contrast.

The charcoal-colored metal skirting protects the lower section from wear and tear and trims the frame’s sharp geometry. The metal gable roof enhances its silhouette, while multiple glazed windows reflect natural surroundings and enhance the biophilic aesthetics. The rustic light-toned wooden steps lead to the glazed entrance, opening into a cabin-like interior that embodies the beauty of the Japandi aesthetic. The generous glazing fills the interior with natural light from all sides, making the living space airy and bright.

The captivating honey-toned vertical wooden slats add a decorative element to the space and filter the natural light without obstructing the airflow. These slats also act as dividers, separating various living zones, while adding valuable privacy to reserved spaces.

The spacious, bright living zone includes a button-tufted, teal convertible sofa bed. In case you have guests, you can roll it out to accommodate them. In addition, the sliding door next to the sofa opens into the main-floor bedroom with a wall-mounted television, an air conditioner, plenty of cabinets, and a double bed. The foldable table with chairs sits below the window, serving as a dining nook for family meals.

The L-shaped kitchen to the right of the foldable table has generous cabinetry with an oven with an integrated microwave. The wooden countertop has an electric hob, a flush sink, and a pop-up socket strip. The charcoal grey finish of the lower cabinet contrasts with the light-toned wood cladding. The open shelves, hanging wine glass rack, and cubbies provide additional storage space to free up the counter space, adding visual depth.

The staircase with ample built-in storage is adjacent to the kitchen and leads to the loft bedroom. The spacious bedroom has a platform double bed with functional headboard storage. The open cubbies and large cabinetry offer more storage.

The slatted wood panels that cover the loft include a large wall-mounted television. You can lie down comfortably on the aforementioned convertible sofa and watch your favorite shows. A full bathroom lies directly beneath this loft bedroom. It includes a glass shower room framed with black trim, a vanity sink with matte black fixtures, a washing machine, and plenty floating shelves and storage spaces.

The Maxi tiny house offers organic warmth with its interiors entirely wrapped in warm wood. The tactile richness from wooden furniture and cladding offers sensory satisfaction, while a storage-efficient layout equipped with modern amenities enhances the functionality. The tiny house feels like a mini version of a luxurious mansion filled with Japandi-style minimalism.
