The leading RV manufacturer Winnebago has launched the Elora model that combines the comfort of a Class C RV with the compact footprint of a Class B motorhome. Also referred to as Resa, it is “an approachable, compact Class-C that delivers the comforts of home while supporting life on the move.” Unlike the previously launched Arka model meant for seasoned RVers, this one is targeted at those looking for easy driving capability.

Winnebago uses a RAM ProMaster chassis and a Pentastar V6 engine for the new entry-level motorhome, giving it enough power to tackle different kinds of roads. The key feature is easy maneuverability made possible with a compact size. Traditional Class Cs are 8 to 8.5 feet wide, but Elora is 7 feet 6 inches wide, making it much easier to drive and park. It measures exactly the length of a full-size passenger van or large SUV, so it can fit into suburban driveways and standard parking spaces.

As compared on Gear Patrol, this Class C motorhome is similar to van-based Winnebago options like Solis and Travato in terms of exterior size but stands out by bringing in additional room inside. The interior features an open layout, expansive windows, and clear sightlines to feel like a real home. With a ceiling height of 6.5 feet and 6.75 feet in width, it creates enough livable space where you can move, cook, and follow your other daily routines. The Elora/Resa motorhome even accommodates a full shower and cassette toilet to complete the bathroom setup.

The rear interior garage space is also a prime highlight that offers up to 2,200 pounds of payload and can be converted for a variety of uses owing to the modular design. Its pass-through design makes it easy to load and unload your adventure gear or other items. This area opens up to carry large items like bikes, or used as a lounge. You can even turn it into a bedroom with a motorized lift bed and double bunk configuration.

The motorhome also includes essentials like dual 30-gallon fresh and grey water tanks, heating, and a battery to support an outdoor lifestyle. It also supports a 220-amp alternator for extended power capacity. There are also modern features like an EcoFlow management system, dimmable lights, charging ports, hot water recirculation, and it is even Starlink ready.

Winnebago says Elora/Resa is an approachable compact Class C motorhome that combines “familiar driving, flexible living, and everyday practicality.” The convertible floorplan offers seating for six and sleeping solutions for up to four, making it ideal for families that want more space than a Class B van without the driving complexity of a traditional Class C motorhome.

The pricing for the compact motorhome is pretty competitive. Winnebago says the Elora/Resa motorhome is expected to arrive in July 2026 with a price tag of roughly $154,000.
