52 Weeks of Tea is a sequel to 363 Days of Tea, where visual artist and graphic designer Ruby Silvious has used old and thrown away tea bags to thrust her creative practice. Projecting the old tea bags as a blank canvas, the designer wanted to inspire people by helping them re-imagining how discarded items can be converted into something new and fresh.
The designer who has also used eggshells to create recycled art, believes that anything can be converted into a masterpiece. However, here she has used thrown away tea bags as canvas for her recycled art project, which even being miniature in form showcase all the detailed aspects of painting. From portraits to paintings, the work created by Silvious is a beautiful example of vision and patience.
Each recycled art created as a one work per week assignment was more manageable and even gave her the chance to introspect her surroundings, while creating painting.
