Want to Spend a Night in Underwater Shark Tank?

Airbnb keeps coming up with quirky offers for people from all around the world to have one-of-a-kind holiday experience. They’ve previously offered a luxury apartment/cable car, 9,000 feet above ski slopes, Von Gogh’s iconic bedroom, and many more out-of-the-box ideas to facilitate astonishing stay for the visitors for a day or two.

This time Airbnb is offering another thrilling opportunity for adventure-seekers to stay underwater in a shark tank. For anyone who’s scared of sharks, this unique holiday accommodation is certainly not meant to be. But for shark-lovers, this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to share underwater space with the fierce animal.

The company has installed an underwater aquarium bedroom 10-meter deep in Aquarium de Paris which is one of its kind. Underwater Shark Bedroom is designed to separate inhabitants from 3,000,000 liters of water and 35 dangerous fishes with a thick glass wall. The glass wall offers 360-degree panoramic views of the underwater life while letting you sleep close to the ‘Jaws.’ Interior features a round bed with comfy mattresses and a pillow, and few bedside tables decked up with fruits and a small aquarium.

The contest offering a single night stay for three couples is hosted by Fred Buyle, free-diver and marine photographer from the Aquarium de Paris. Before sending the lucky winner inside the bedroom, Buyle will familiarize them with their finned roommates. The winners will also get a chance to attend an exclusive underwater event on April 11, 12, and 13.

The deadline to send your entries is already over, but we’re eager to find out about lucky winners of the contest. Besides being a great holiday opportunity for the shark lovers, this is also a clever stunt by the brand to generate publicity about its services and unique selection of properties.
