Created by Belgian firm Atelier Vens Vanbelle, this industrial guest house pod is made from prefabricated timber and corten steel. Dubbed Alex guest house, this whimsical pod is situated in the Uitbergen region of East Flanders in Belgium. The property was owned by an executive in the film industry who commissioned the Belgian architects to make this interesting cinematic pod for his international guests.

The pod is nestled in the middle of wooded surroundings in a private yard, atop a hill. One side of the guest house features the main house and the other side overlooks a dense forest area. This compact pod features a cabin-like space with a living area and a bedroom. There is also a cinema room and a bar for the entertainment of guests.

The entire structure of the guest house was prefabricated off-site to minimize the project’s environmental impact, along with the reduction of construction costs and time. The interior of this tiny home boasts minimalist furnishing and an airy vibe.

The walls are covered with LVL wood, giving contemporary cabin-like aesthetics to the pod. Furthermore, the massive circular window of the pod brings in enough daylight to brighten up the interior while enabling homeowners to enjoy the outdoor view.

On the ground level, you’ll find the main living area, kitchen, and dining room along with a large bedroom. There is also a watchtower on the top of the pod. The basement is intended to be the entertainment/recreational area.
