Finland-based BLOCKO by VETROM Ltd. (Vetrospace Oy) manufactures soundproof office pods that provide a healthy working environment for increased productivity. They offer two models: Model O and Model C that can be chosen according to space needs. Model C is intended for only one person while the other model is perfect for a small meeting of up to four people.
We would like to shed some light on the Model O, which is made of Finnish bend plywood, aged brass, solid birch, and white-clad sawn veneer. This office meeting pod features a pleasing rounded shape and stands on four legs.
The exterior of Model O can be chosen from two choices of veneer – prefinished white oak or walnut plywood. On the other hand, the interior space is decked with ecologically recycled felt, offered in 9 different colors. It not only ensures pretty looks but also grants sound insulation for privacy. Inside the pod, there is a table and two fixed benches. Furthermore, there is a brass lamp, RCD protected socket, motion sensor, and USB-charging facilities for further convenience.
