Panasonic in collaboration with UK-based studio LAYER Design has showcased the Balance of Being collection at IFA 2019. The collection comprises six futuristic devices including the SHOT smoothie maker that uses camera and artificial intelligence to conduct a visual analysis of a person’s skin and then creates a smoothie with correct dose of nourishment for the skin.
The idea of an AI-powered countertop appliance that can read nutritional deficiency in a person’s skin to prepare a personalized beverage sounds really good, and with Panasonic in the helm, we expect somehow, someday such a device can become reality.

Panasonic and Layer Design have also revealed something called the Lift smart cooking device with embedded sensors, which uses heat and pressure to cook food to its best nutritional state.
The Balance of Being – concept experience collection also includes a smart massaging device, an infrared light enabled hair growth device, an LED neckband for improving complexion, and a skincare device that works while you sleep.
