LAYER Designs SHOT AI-Powered Smoothie Maker for Panasonic

Panasonic SHOT will use Camera and AI to Make Nutritional Smoothie for Your Skin

Panasonic in collaboration with UK-based studio LAYER Design has introduced Balance of Being collection at IFA 2019. The collection comprises six futuristic devices including the SHOT, a smart device that uses a camera and artificial intelligence to conduct a visual analysis of a person’s skin and then using a selection of frozen veggies and fruits creates a smoothie with correct dose of nourishment for the skin.

The idea of smart kitchenware that can read nutritional deficiency in a person’s skin and then prepare a beverage to fill the gap sounds too good to be true, but with Panasonic in the helm, we expect somehow, someday a device as such could possibly be for real.

Panasonic and Layer have also revealed something called the Lift smart cooking device with embedded sensors, which uses heat and pressure to bring food to its best nutritional state.

Other products in the Balance of Being – concept experience collection include a smart massaging device, an infrared light enabled hair growth device, an LED neckband for improving complexion, and a skincare device that works while you sleep.
