Noom Archipen chair, designed by Kateryna Sokolova, features flat legs twisted in different directions. Known for creating sculptural furniture, the Kyiv-based company handcrafted the distinct chair with a striking, artistic design without ornamentation or excess artwork. Instead, the chair focuses on calm and balanced proportions. The Archipen chair is ideal for any HORECA setting to create a visual focal point with cozy and minimalistic aesthetics of a functional seating piece.

The design of this chair references Archipentura, the historic first kinetic artwork created by renowned Ukrainian avant-garde sculptor Olexander Archipenko. Inspired by this kinetic artwork, the flat legs of the chair embody the moving slat effect. The rhythmic slats create an illusion of motion and a constantly shifting form when viewed from different angles. The straight edges with precise geometry give it a clean silhouette.

Crafted meticulously, each Archipen involves manual construction and a higher quality of finishing. Its structure maintains an adequate balance between its wooden framework and the space between the elements, giving it a sculptural character.

The artisanal furniture measures 2.6 feet in length and 1.8 feet in width, with a seat height of 1.5 feet. These space-efficient proportions make the chair ideal for an office, restaurant, or office cabin.

Made from solid Ashwood, the chair has a strong but lightweight framework. The designer used plywood to make its seat and backrest, available in a natural or stained finish. The leather or textile upholstery of the padded foam seating provides ergonomic support to your body.

The Archipen chair functions as a modern art piece and a functional seating object. The kinetic visual effect formed by twisted slats, its architectural geometry, and artistic, handcrafted quality give a sculptural appearance to the furniture. If you have a specific preference, the company offers plenty of customizable options for color and upholstery to suit your needs. The refined and sophisticated chair will elevate the aesthetics of your living space.

The chairs have geometrical, architectural structure.
