Spanish design firm Arturo Alvarez creates handcrafted decorative lighting products which might confuse you a little with their unique appearance. Their Rounded Icarus wall lamp looks like a bright sun in the sky and Li-wall-lamp is made of different-sized strips of recycled materials, and both are pretty good examples of his unique design approach. One again, the firm has come up with an extraordinary lighting series named Pili, which is available in a pendant or floor-standing versions.

The table lamp is available in one size, whereas the pendant lamp is available in three versions boasting different dimensions. For making these lamps, a single painted stainless steel thread is interwoven in random volumes with pleasant irregularity, just like a bird’s nest, and then the light passes through the tangled thread, creating a mystic effect.

All decorative lamps in the collection are beautiful décor pieces that also brighten up space elegantly. If we talk of the Pili table lamp, it stands on four metal bars and enhances your home décor by serving as a centerpiece, whether you place it in your bedroom or lobby. On the other hand, Pili pendant lamp is hanged with the thread secured at its top, and can be used with any type of interior decoration.

Using steel thread for illumination is an innovative idea and firm’s founder Arturo Alvarez has nicely materialized the concept. These lamps are one-of-its-kind in the market and if you want to add a classic statement to your room, then these modern lamps are perfect to complement your interior style.
