Scandinavian brand Audio Pro’s latest A15 W wireless speaker is designed for better outdoor use. Much like its predecessor, this model is a portable multi-room speaker, but includes a significantly larger battery, updated app, and better water resistance. It comes with a built-in battery and flexible streaming options, becoming your all-in-one source for listening to your favorite music on the go.
The A15 W wireless speaker comes with an IPX2 rating, which means it can survive light water splashes or a sudden drizzle. This makes it suitable for poolside use, in the kitchen, or on a camping trip. The updated app further enhances the experience with a redesigned interface, advanced EQ, and extended streaming service support. The speaker also doubles the battery capacity with 19 hours of playback, making it much better for all-day outdoor events.
The sound and look are kept the same. A fabric-wrapped exterior with a built-in handle slot on the back highlights the design. There are buttons on the top of the speaker for easy operation. Along with the standard playback buttons, it includes six physical preset buttons to launch your favorite playlists or internet radio stations without using your phone.
As for the sound, the speaker uses a 40W amplifier, a 4.5-inch coated paper woofer, and a 1-inch soft dome tweeter, crossed over at 2800 Hz for balanced sound performance. It offers a wide frequency response of 56 Hz to 22,000 Hz, while its in-room bass extension reaches down to 53 Hz. You can also enjoy high-resolution streaming up to 24-bit/96 kHz.
There is an onboard 3.5mm port to connect devices, such as phones, laptops, or MP3 players, while a dedicated subwoofer output lets you connect an external subwoofer for deeper and more powerful bass. This may be perfect for those who prefer high bass.
The A15 W supports a wide range of streaming protocols including Spotify Connect, Apple AirPlay 2, Google Cast, Tidal Connect, and Audio Pro Multiroom. Furthermore, it can be used with streaming services Amazon Music, Deezer, Qobuz, Napster, SoundCloud, Pandora, and Plex.

The A15 W can be viewed as a prime contender to Sonos Move 2 as it offers better physical connectivity with a 3.5mm port for connecting external audio sources. The onboard subwoofer output is also a distinct advantage, not available in most competitors. Additionally, Google Cast support makes it more friendly for Android users.
Audio Pro A15W wireless streaming speaker measures 206 x 286 x 137 mm (8.1 x 11.2 x 5.3 inches) and weighs around 3.4 kg. It is listed at €400 (roughly $450) on the official website, which is nearly the same as Sonos Move 2, so you have to choose the right one according to your needs.
