I am 29 and my back already hurts like 92. I can, to an extent imagine what pain, strain, and torture someone in their dotage or the specially abled may have to go through when getting up from bed, chair, or a toilet seat. While there are accessories (recliners and heavy-duty chairs) that can help an aging or disabled person get up from a chair or bed, there are zero to no accessories that can come to the person’s rescue on the toilet. Vocic, a US company behind home medical rehabilitation products saw the potential for a new product here, which led to the rise of the AX12 electric raised toilet seat.

As evident from the name, AX12 is a raised toilet seat meant for the aged or have someone with some sort of disability, who find it hard to stand up from a regular height toilet seat. If you know someone who is dealing with the problem, there is no better time than Christmas to gift them this amazing electric raised toilet seat.

The AX12 electric toilet seat comes equipped with a rubber anti-slip pad on the bottom that ensures a stable and secure base so users can use the toilet with confidence. The real feature of the toilet seat is its electric-lift mechanism that lets the user smoothly rise from and sit down on the toilet seat. The AX12’s 20-degree tilt angle promotes safety by keeping the center of gravity over the seat, reducing the risk of falling while getting up from it. The seat takes only 15 seconds to swiftly ascend, ensuring the user doesn’t have to wait or struggle.

In addition to the electric-lift mechanism, the seat also features curved armrests, which have a soft texture for added comfort and are adjustable, allowing for easy transfers from the side and providing a secure grip for sitting and standing.

The installation and operation is no rocket science either. The AX12 is designed for easy setup, eliminating the need for complicated installation. One has to simply plug and play the toilet’s seat cable into an electrical socket and you are good to go. AX12 electric raised toilet seat is compatible with both round and elongated toilets, accommodating a weight capacity of 330 lbs.

In addition to its practical features, the AX12 can also be controlled via remote and allows for effortless height adjustments, making it an intuitive experience for all type of users. Currently crowdfunding on Kickstarter, the electric toilet seat is up for preorder at an early bird price of $196.
