Tiny houses come in all shapes and sizes. Some are as small as six feet long, while others measure as big as 48 feet. There is, however, a sweet spot between the two configurations, where most tiny homes find their footing. It is 27.5 feet. Neither too big nor too small, mobile homes of this length are not just comfortable and functional but light and easy to tow. Case in point, the glass-wrapped Bali tiny house on wheels.

Designed by Austria-based tiny house manufacturer, Ducy Home, the Bali tiny house is a compact yet comprehensively outfitted tiny house designed for two that blends practical mobility with considered interior living. Measuring 27.5 feet in length and 8.3 feet in width, the Bali tiny house comes poised on a triple-axle trailer, implying it can be relocated without the permitting complications.

Akin to most tiny homes in Europe, the Bali tiny boasts a thermowood and aluminum composite facade, a pairing that handles weather exposure well while giving the structure a clean, contemporary profile. This is complemented by a series of glazing, windows, and glass doors outfitted throughout the interior, and bright. Inside, the walls are finished in Abachi wood while the flooring is finished with parquet that keeps the interior feeling warm without adding unnecessary weight to the trailer.

The tiny house features a living room, bedroom, kitchen, and bathroom. The sleeping area fits a bed for two, served by a large side window and air conditioning. The kitchen is stocked with high-gloss cabinetry, a ceramic sink, an extractor hood, a stove and oven, a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, and a dishwasher. The bathroom features a tempered shower cubicle, ceramic fixtures, a built-in toilet, a washing machine, and a vanity. All these spaces are equipped with windows that help regulate airflow and temperature.

The tiny house is also capable of running off-grid, thanks to a 600-watt solar system with a 3kW smart inverter and a 200Wh gel battery mounted on the roof, and a dedicated outlet for a wind turbine connection. Other features include LED and LED ambient lighting, USB sockets, and underfloor heating. These features, however, come as add-ons above the base price of $58,000.

Ducy Home also offers a luxury Package, which includes a full kitchen appliance suite, including a dishwasher, two-burner ceramic hob, refrigerator, oven, and microwave, along with a washing machine for those who prefer to take appliance selection out of their hands entirely.
