Bang and Olufsen, the leading audio-visual brand recently added BeoSound 1 and BeoSound 2 to its wide collection of wireless speakers. Both the speakers designed in conical shape feature 360 degree audio, integrated music services, multiple connectivity options, and easy to operate rotating touchpad at its top. Moreover, the BeoLink Multiroom technology allows connecting them to other Bang and Olufsen products at your home. These wireless speakers designed with robust metal body offer impressive output to surround any space with your favorite music. The imposing conical shape of these speakers seems inspired from the BeoLab 20 wireless speakers by the Danish consumer electronics company.

BeoSound 1 is a portable speaker that offers 360 degree audio response with acoustic lens technology. This speaker offers flexible lifestyle with its powerful rechargeable battery that allows using it indoors as-well-as outdoors. The metallic body and simple design of this wireless speaker goes well with any interior. Furthermore, its dark round base is visible through cut patterns which make the design dynamic. You can easily operate this speaker as a rotating touchpad is incorporated on its top.

You can connect this wireless speaker via Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and other wireless streaming technologies to get the full Bang & Olufsen experience. Renowned music streaming services including Spotify, Deezer and TuneIn are integrated to provide quick access to a wide collection of music without using your smartphone. You can also connect other B&O products in one wireless system to enhance the overall entertainment experience. BeoSound 1 is convenient accessory to have, as you can place it on a table or floor to get spherical output.

Just like BeoSound 1, its sibling, BeoSound 2 has quite similar features except for its size, power, output and design details. Opposed to solid color scheme of BeoSound 1, it has black lines on its upper area that gives it a different look. It includes extra power amplifiers to offer better output, but you need to plug it to the main power supply as it doesn’t include a battery. Differentiation between the power amplifier’s of these two speakers is described below.

Power Amplifiers
BeSound 1 BeSound 2
1 1 x 40 watt class D for full-range 2 x 11 watt class D for mid-range
2 1 x 20 watt class D for woofer 2 x 20 watt class D for woofer
3 No amplifier for tweeter 1 x 40 watt class D for tweeter

Both speakers not only offer amazing output, but also maintain elegance and simplicity in any space with its unobtrusive design. The BeoSound 1 can be purchased for $1,495 and the BeoSound 2 will be available in Bang & Olufsen stores in October for a price tag of $1,895.

In addition to the wireless speakers, Bang & Olufsen also introduced a 4K TV, BeoVision Horizon. It will come in two sizes, 40 and 48 inch and can be purchased for $3,995 and $5,495 in December.

Update: The most newest feature in both these wireless speakers is the integration of Google Assistant, allowing you to control music with voice commands.
