We don’t often realize the importance of a good pet bed. A comfortable and cozy bed not only supports joints but also helps keep your pooch warm. Taking these keynotes, ABOVE, a Scandinavian innovation agency renowned for creating beautiful, smart, and valuable products unveiled ‘Barc’, an ergonomic, modular, and hyper-comfy bed for canines.

The Swedish company does not have previous experience in making pet products. But with the Barc, it is leaving no stone unturned. The company states, “Barc forges intelligent modularity with inbuilt ingenuity for a portable and stylish bed that offers calm and familiarity to our pups, no matter their size.”

From the available pictures, the pet bed looks stylish and colorful. However, it’s functionality that’s the major talking point. Its core structure forms the main body of the bed, which is topped with two more layers that are removable and offer a soft padded surface for the pooch.

The three-layer construction makes the structure modular. The above two layers of the pet bed can be removed or inserted as per requirement. If your dog likes a surface that’s plain solid, you may consider removing the top layer. In case your canine loves itching or rubbing its body, the top layer could come in really handy. As per the company, “the adaptable mattress insert and foam densities cater to different ergonomic needs.”

ABOVE is yet to update the product on its website but from the appearance and unique design standpoint, Barc looks like a fine bed for your four-legged friend. In addition to the core structure, ABOVE has also included a pillow for additional comfort for your pet.

The makers have not revealed a price or release date for Barc. However, it’s listed as a ‘product’ on the company’s Instagram update, which indicates it will have a release date soon.
