With an aim to keep germs at bay, UK-based educational furniture manufacturer, British Thornton has created their first full-range of anti-bacterial furniture for nurseries. This line of nursery furniture features a child-friendly anti-bacterial coating. So you can let children enjoy learning and interaction, without the fear of spreading germs.

Usually, nursery-age children are more susceptible to illness – as they constantly keep touching furniture surfaces full of germs, and not even wash their hands frequently. Therefore, to cut the spread of germs, the clever furniture manufacturer has introduced the first-of-its-kind furniture that reduces the bacteria count on its surface.

In an interview, Gerard Toplass, CEO of British Thornton, said,

We were very keen to expand our offering to include a suite of products specifically designed for nursery children. The quality of the craftsmanship is second to none, and we feel this will really fit with what nursery managers are currently looking for.

The furniture collection includes the use of solid, natural materials, minimal color and designs, while letting the kids emphasize more on their imagination. Moreover, the surfaces of each furniture piece are treated with a coating that helps prevent bacteria from living on the surface of panels. This way the furniture significantly reduces the bacteria formation on it, according to the reports.
