The electric campervan market is evolving with names like Ford, Volkswagen, and Winnebago leading the charge. Carryboy is also a significant contributor, who previously came into the limelight for converting a Toyota Hilux Champ into a six-person motorhome. The company is back, and this time, it has collaborated with Chinese commercial vehicle brand Farizon Auto to build the very first all-electric campervan based on the Farizon Super Van (SV) of Thailand.

The new Carryboy x Farizon campervan is based around a full-size van measuring six meters (236 inches) long. This results in a family-size floor plan complete with a bathroom located on the front.

Unlike most vans, the Farizon Super Van features a wide, B-pillarless rear sliding door entry that creates a huge open entry, improving access and offering a spacious feeling inside. New Atlas points out that this interior layout blocks some of the open space next to the side door, which could have been very practical for storing or loading large gear.

The kitchen is located along the side of the camper, extending toward the rear near the wide sliding side door. It has a 68-liter refrigerator on its front wall, allowing inhabitants to access it from both the inside and the outside. There is a pull-out drawer above the fridge that contains a single induction cooktop and a sink. You pull it out to cook, and when you’re done, it slides back in, leaving the counter above completely clear. When the drawer is pushed in, the countertop is completely free for you to use as a table or a shelf.

Next up is a U-sofa rear dining lounge that seats five to six people. It has a central table that drops down to support the lower bed. There is also a second bed over the dinette area that lifts out of the way during the day at the push of a button. It lowers down to complete a bunk bed layout and sleep two more people. This layout sleeps up to 4-5 people.

The Carryboy camper has no rear pass-through; instead, it opts for cabinetry just inside the rear load doors for extra organization. This O-shaped cabinet unit includes a central cutout complete with an integrated mosquito net, so campers can still enjoy the views outside. It has interior storage cubbies on the sides and lower storage cabinets accessed from the outside.

The campervan includes a separate battery, paired with a 650W rooftop solar charging system to run appliances. As for the campervan battery, it has an 82-kWh onboard battery that is claimed to run 372 km on a single charge, and is powered by a 94-hp permanent synchronous electric motor.

Carryboy and Farizon debuted this new full-electric campervan at the 2026 Bangkok International Motor Show. The maker has plans to sell it for ฿2.8 million (roughly US$85,500).
