Georgia-based Mustard Seed Tiny Homes is a premium tiny house builder just outside of Atlanta. The tiny house manufacturer has been delivering amazing mobile dwellings in times when the affordable housing crisis has struck so many people in the US. One of its models, the Cedar tiny house (earlier known as the Cypress) is the perfect compact dwelling for a small family.

Packed with attractive features and modern amenities, the Cedar tiny house on wheels has an open design with a bedroom loft, full kitchen, spacious bathroom, and a master bedroom-cum-home office with a Murphy bed. This compact mobile abode can be used as a house for singles, couples, and small families or as a vacation rental.

The exterior is clad in cedar lap upper siding and its alluring blue steel and wood structure makes it a delight to behold. The interior is clad in white shiplap veneer from floor to ceiling. A cream-colored door opens into the tiny living room that has a tufted couch and a minimal layout.

On the right hand is a gourmet kitchen to allow the residents to prep delicious meals to their heart’s content. The spacious U-shaped cookhouse features a four-burner propane cooktop, full-size refrigerator, kitchen sink extension bump-out, custom cabinets, Ikea laminate countertops, oven, dishwasher, hooded vent, and a breakfast bar tucked neatly along the door. There are so many storage options in the kitchen thanks to overhead and under-counter cabinets and open shelving.

On the other side of the living room is a hybrid storage-integrated staircase-ladder design leading to the loft bedroom, where a king-side bed offers sleeping for two. Underneath the loft are the bathroom and the main floor master bedroom-cum-home office.

A sliding barn door leads to the bathroom. It features a custom tile shower, bath sink, glass shower enclosure, and flushing toilet. The bathroom can accommodate a washer-dryer combo as well.

Past the bathroom, a pocket door leads to the master bedroom. It has a Murphy bed with a horizontal retractable desk and custom cabinets and closets to provide flexible living space. Needless to say, the Cedar tiny house is a perfect compact dwelling and has a price starting at $97,000 with the final cost varying depending on customized options and features.

Listening to her grandmother weaving nighttime tales to penning down her own thoughts, Priya developed a penchant for stories and their origin early in her childhood. Soon she began getting lost in the world of paintings and books. After her master's in literature, she started writing copiously on diverse topics including architecture, interior design trends, and home improvement while learning the ropes of copyediting. Reading novels, painting, and baking are her favorites on her long list of hobbies. She also loves to travel, meet new people, learn about different cultures, and listen to stories.
