While people are busy decorating their Christmas trees this festive season, this Christmas tree-shaped home in New Canaan, Connecticut celebrates Xmas throughout the year. Constructed in 1990, the glass and concrete structure was the home of renowned mid-century architect John Black Lee until his death in April 2016.

It is for sale now and listed with Sotheby’s International Realty for just over $750,000. The glass A-frame makes the main entrance that basically functions as a massive skylight for the rest of the home. The 1,9800 square-feet glass structure on a concrete core sits cantilevered over the Silvermine River.

Don’t go on it’s exterior, the Christmas tree house is deceptively huge on the inside. It features an open-plan living area, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and an antique barn. The sunken living area has a massive triangular brick fireplace and further opens out to a cantilevered terrace facing the river and wooded hillside.

The interior is a perfect blend of minimalism and contemporary style while reminding the inhabitants of their favorite holiday all year round. It is a 90-minute drive from New York City to reach this beautiful home. Check out the images below to have closer look.
