The plastic devices in shape of tiny beds come complete with a lattice bottom and small pillows, which hold wet sponges above countertops. Sponge holders have become an important part of our kitchen spaces, but a staggering problem with most of them is that they cannot keep soapy water away. So, there are higher chances of bacterial growth due to the accumulation of water on the sponge for longer time periods.
But the sponge holder’s lattice bottom is designed to keep soapy water away from the sponge and let it dry efficiently. Hence, there will be minimum bacterial growth.
