The concept of a tree house is outrightly interesting and so is the concept of pods, and if the two are combined, it’s worth every bit of it. Case in point, the Cocoon Tree – a very lightweight and waterproof spherical treehouse-like pod, which can be suspended from the trees to bring you the coolest outdoor experience ever. Weighing in at about 130 pounds and capable of withstanding a ton of weight or accommodating a couple (with or without 2 small children), the Cocoon Tree can be mounted on the tree within two hours. Made with high-density aluminum tubes, the structure installed with ropes and nets has 12 locking points for stability during the suspension.

The Cocoon tree by Berni Du Payrat has a robust waterproof skin on the outside along with air-conditioners and ventilators powered by the sun and wind power. Beside the Cocoon treehouse, the Cocoon (which can be placed on the ground or suspended from the tree) is also available as Cocoon Beach for beach lovers and synthetic fiber quoted Cocoon Jungle for the eco-lovers.
