Caffeine lovers would love nothing more than being able to enjoy different brews when in the great outdoors. Unfortunately, there is a very limited scope there. Most coffee machines are bulky, use basic extraction methods, and only offer one type of brew. Enter the COFFEEJACK V2 portable espresso machine, which uses gear-powered extraction and offers 6-7 types of brews on the go.

There is no need for electricity for the extraction process, and you can enjoy unlimited cups of fresh coffee while outdoors. It is very lightweight, weighing approximately 1 kg. The little machine measures 8.4 cm x 13 cm, and can be easily stashed in a rucksack without compromising on precious space.

COFFEEJACK V2 portable espresso machine uses a high torque planetary gearbox to generate steady 9+ bar pressure for optimal extraction, which replicates the quality of commercial machines. The portable coffee maker is designed to make rich, balanced espresso shots, whether at home or in the wild. Moreover, it offers a chance for you to exercise your arms.

If you are wondering how it works, well, the unique design allows an even water distribution across coffee grounds. It also minimizes heat loss and enhances extraction proficiency. There is even a digital pressure gauge option (available as an add-on), which provides real-time pressure feedback. It lets you track and save coffee recipes via a mobile app.

With this portable gear-powered espresso machine, you can make Americanos, lattes, flat whites, moka, macchiato, cappuccino, and of course, the good ol’ espresso. You can take this compact contraption with you anywhere, anytime, and enjoy rich brews.

Made from stainless steel food contact components, the durable machine extracts a double shot (18g) of fresh espresso. It uses a 54 mm unpressurized portafilter, without the need for pods. Moreover, you can use the espresso machine with an elevation stand or with a tumbler.

Currently crowdfunding on Kickstarter, the COFFEEJACK V2 portable espresso machine can be yours for an early bird pledge of £159 (about $210). It is the ideal solution for an adventurous soul who loves their coffee.
