There are days when your pooch is lively and peppy, and other days, the spry canines can be found twiddling their thumbs. However, it is your duty as a pet parent to ensure that your dog is busy and stimulated because if not so, these furballs can be irksome at times or may develop aggressive behavior.

Many people give excuses that they don’t get time to enroll their dog in physical activity because of a hectic work schedule. To aid such people, German brand MiaCara has introduced a Cono Activity Toy that doubles as a dog feeder and keeps your dog busy and proactive. Designed by Danish design studio Hans Thyge and company, the Cono Activity Toy is made of natural rubber, thus making it easier for dogs to play with and stimulating their prey instincts.

Available in three color combinations (greige, sage, and slate), the Cono Activity Toy measures 2.8 inches in length and breadth and is nearly four inches in height, thus making it an ideal toy for any medium to big-sized dog. If this didn’t leave you impressed, it can even function as a feeder.

The company mentions that Cono Activity Toy can be filled with wet food, dog liver sausage, or even yogurt. “Seeking out treats by licking through the large opening is mentally stimulating and satisfies instincts,” the company states. It’s designed to prevent your dog from gobbling its food too fast. As a result, the dog has to resort to licking, keeping it occupied.

With food acting as bait, the toy makes your dog roll, nudge, and lick to access the treats inside, hence keeping them physically active. The shape of the pet toy is such that it can be turned and rolled in all directions. “This awakens the play instinct and motivates dogs to seek out the treats,” mentions the company.

The pet toy not only helps in promoting pet concentration but also helps reduce stress. Priced at €29.95 ($32 US approx.), the pet Cono Activity Toy comes at a bargain basement price and should indeed be on your checklist this summer.
