The objects used on construction sites can also be the inspiration for some designer lamp seems a bit off beat but none the less impressive. Stephanie Lasny, the proponent of this niche idea set out on designing a floor lamp called Cordula which has a spotlight and a cable drum to keep the long cable in place. The light fixture having energy-saving fluorescent tube can be rotated 90 degrees in any direction due to the pivot-joint which permits easy movement. The material used in manufacturing the floor lamp includes expoxy satin lacquer and the cable is made using woven textile material.
Cordula floor lamp is a part of Stephanie’s graduation project and was shown off at D3 design talents during IMM Cologne.
