If you want a timelessly textured and vibrant design, the Within collection is perfect with its exuberant pieces that are full of life and freshness. The dynamic collection consists of pieces ranging from lighting to furniture, catering to every aspect of your home. Designed by a women-centric, California-based furniture and lighting brand, Cuff Studio, the Within collection is going to be exhibited at the Wanted section of the design fair ICFF during NYCxDesign 2025, marking the studio’s first solo exhibition.

Before we jump into the collection, let us brief you about Wanted: it is a feature of ICFF (International Contemporary Furniture Fair) under NYCxDesign 2025. This section occupies about 20,000 square feet of the show floor, spotlighting the best in North American designs and emerging talents.

This year, you get to behold Within, a collection that resembles California’s free spirit, infused with vibrant hues, textures, and rich material. The beauty lies in the details, and the collection has been considerate toward intricate detailing and exploration of broad materiality. Let’s explore the collection below.

Puddling Cascade

Puddling Cascade is a waterfall of knotted, twisted, and puddling rope turned into a lighting fixture. This cascading light draws inspiration from the entangled aerial roots of the banyan tree. Setting a benchmark for innovative design, the Puddling Cascade beautifully blurs the line between form and function. Within each fixture of white cotton rope are woven hand-blown glass shades, casting soft and warm glow. The light is available in hard-wired or plug-in form.

Knotty Lamp

Sculpturally defined, the Knotty Lamp features an asymmetrical hand-blown glass shade wrapped inside a cotton rope. The lamp emits a soft, diffused glow, adjusted using a Cuff Studio patented natural brass housing and rotary switch, enough to enchant the space, making your living room a hot spot for gathering.

Parchment Facet Floating Shelf

The shelf is multifaceted and can be used anywhere in your home, such as the living room, dining room, bedroom, or anywhere for the utmost functionality. Featuring a small cabinet, it can be used to display art, books, or any aesthetic object for a personalized look. Made from vegan parchment paired with a leather lined high gloss lacquer interior drawer, the Facet Floating Shelf continues the exploration of materials.

C Back Lounge Chair

Next in the line is the C Back Lounge Chair. Featuring a solid hand-textured and patinated bronze frame with waterfall seat and back cushion, the C Back Lounge is enveloping and exudes class and fine craftsmanship. It is a reinterpretation of the studio’s existing design.

Triangle Stool

The Triangle Stool is another significant part of the collection. This stool is a specimen of classic detailing. It features a button-tufted upholstered seat cushion paired with a silk cord trim, which is further adorned with a matching decorative silk tassel. The solid bronze frame is hand-textured and coated for a refined look.

Metal Triangle Sconce

The Metal Triangle Sconce flaunts a minimal aesthetic and is pleasing in terms of configuration. The sconce is intentionally designed to be asymmetric and angular. Meanwhile, it is handmade with an upward glow, adding drama to your walls.
