Michael Dutko of Duke Harmon Woodworks YouTube channel has been working with wood since his late childhood. He has recently been in limelight for building a bar for squirrels that resembles a real bar you and I may want.
Dubbed The Nutty Bar, it is attached to the fence in his home and features seven silos with custom signs of nuts ‘on tap’ inspired by the names of common beers. The entire structure is finished with 2 coats of polyurethane that helps in making it water-resistant. It has a slanted roof, under which squirrels can savor the nuts!
There is also a quirky “Nuts No Nuts” restroom sign, and a “The Nutty Bar” decorative signboard to complete the look. This bar for squirrels is highly detailed and intricate so much that only a professional woodworker can make it. Michael has completed this project using the x-carve CNC machine by inventables. The design is made in V-carve program and the pieces are cleaned using a round over router bit and sand paper.

If you think you can build one of these, give it try. Else if you are not a DIY type but like the squirrel bar anyway, you can buy it right away for AU$250 (about $180) from Michael’s Etsy shop.
